Hi all.
I took a piece of celluloid from my “special blanks” drawer this week and made this pen with it.
I love the stuff. It does require a light touch or it can overheat, but worth the extra bit of care needed.
I’m on a bit of a run with the hex shaped pens at the moment. Not sure if I’m alone in this but once I hit on something new to me then I tend to hammer it to death and repeat it many times so I acquire some degree of familiarity with the process. A form of cerebral muscle memory.
Anyway here it is. I use 13mm triple lead cap threads and the trim rings are sterling silver which I cut from sheet. The coin is cast. Fitted with a Bock nib.
Cheers
Ash
