Hi all

Bit of nice celluloid here. This is the real deal, namely the old style cellulose nitrate that first came to popularity in the 19th century (although this is a much more modern example). The use of nitric acid in its manufacture made it very flammable and consequently, after numerous factory fires, gave way to the significantly more stable cellulose acetate that is prevalent today.
I’ve used black acrylic for the section and sterling silver for the rings. The clip is chrome plated steel from Beaufort Ink.
Cheers
Ash
