hello folks

here are some workshop pics of a new mallee burr hybrid box that I have made today, the pic's don't show it very well but the resin is a blue/green.

Beautiful Box George the cut fitted so well with the division of timber v plastic. 20 mins to 1 am on Monday 24th August time for bed.

Just tipped boxes of brown mallee offcuts used to send them to a guy who made jewelry.I do really care for the way you use timber out to the outside of the burl sometimes the designs in there are spellbinding.

yet another to add to you already long list of great boxes and blanks. I must get my system up and running to have a go at making pen blanks to start with from some pieces of wood that I have collected. If I can achieve a 1/4 as good as these to start with I will be very happy.
