I have been selling a fair bit of this blank so thought it was worth a turn. Came up beautifully with a hint of pink shimmer thrown in to the mix. Its on a retro kit and although the bog oak looks very dark in the pictures is actually rather dark in real life too :funny:

It is, its a strange one. The Bog Oak is more end grain than cross grain, so i think that is what you are seeing. I am struggling to get a decent light on my shots which is annoying. I have tried putting some photo cloth over the LED to disperse the light but i struggle. the pen itself was sanded to 400 cross blank then abrasive paste to clean it up. then hit with 12 layers of CA and finally micro meshed to 12k, i couldnt get the thing shinier if i tried haha
