I didn't used to be a fan of them either, but they do grow on you. I was commissioned to make one with antler, but I haven't put it together yet.

You have made a cracking job of them and the photos are superb:thumbs: just be careful of fingerprints, you need some gloves:whistling:

Your right Peter about the fingerprints. I washed my bloody hands as well before I took the photos. Looks like I will have to get some snooker gloves.

Nicely turned Vic. A couple of questions

1 who's kit is it
2 Looking at the nib it seems to stick out quite a bit should it be out that far on this kit

The Kits are from Timberbits and I have checked on a few others that I have in stock and the nib is the same on all of them ??

You have to be careful that you don't trim the blank too much or the nib will stick way out. you can adjust the mechanism by taking a fraction off.

Time to stop apologising Vic there is no need IMHO both the pics, Pens stand up motives are unimportant to me except as background they will be accepted for the quality presented.
