Take a guess
I just use Rhyno grip the same as I use for hand sanding, just cut squares to fit on the Velcro disc they don't have to be round to work.

Graeme the sanding paper doesn't have to be round. If you can find rolls of hook and loop used for drum sanders you can cut 2" or 3" squares. The corners will not interfere in the least. I buy from a company called Klingspor. They sell what they call bargain box. It consists of cut offs. They sell large quantities of non hook and loop. You can get 10 or 20 lb box. You have to ask is they have hook and loop available. I make all my bowl sanding "discs" using square cut hook and loop.

If you buy off the roll make sure to get 150mm wide that way you can get 2 75mm squares across with no waste and 2 50mm squares across again with no waste. I don't bother cutting mine into circles just leave them square. I get mine from Simon Hope when I go to the show down here

You can make your own rounds my pro mate has an old anvil every now and again he makes up a thousand of them using a cutter onto a plastic block on the anvil. For the smaller users make your own cuts using water pipe ground 45 degrees takes 15 mins to make and yes it is better used round IMHO.

Peter.
