A pair of Gold plated FP/RB Gent pens in French Oak wood with a bespoke Spalted beech wood box.

This French Oak is lighter in colour than the English Oak I turned. Less figuring as well, grain doesn't show up quite as well. Spalted Beechwood speaks for its self I think.:whistling:

Super job, Eamonn.

I like the way the grain runs continuously around your box.

Alan

Picture from the other end and showing the hinges. shows the end grain well.
All my boxes are made from one piece of wood Alan, so matching the grain on the ends.
