A couple of Boxwood Slimline pens. The Boxwood was kindly sent to me by Neil Farrar ..

I did a little experimenting with these pens, the pen with the Gold plating was given a coating of BLO and the other a coat of Sanding Sealer. I wanted to see what finish i could get using the Melamine and which of the two if any would help with the finish. To be honest both looked the same so no advantage with either the sealer or the BLO ..

C/B are made with Blackwood ..

Each pen was given five coats of the Melamine and a rub of carnauba wax ..
