Hi, I'm new here, so hello! Got my Lathe last week and just waiting on the tooling and bits from TB to arrive :)

So my question is, can you buy the brass tubing separate from the kit so I can turn blanks to practice without burning through a kit each time? My local model shop sells various sizes but is there anything special about the tube in the kits?
