Two sheds full of blanks and still can't find one of the right type of wood or correct sizes that I want. There must be over 200 blanks either bowl or spindle this is going to break my heart as I just may have to go and buy some unless I can get some sycamore

Through the Sycamore the smell of new mown hay. Looks like you are taken care of Derek.I would despair even further with 40 or more boxes plus of 200 blanks at least in each.SCary. Visited a Luthier on Monday offered him a Cocobolo 30mm square by 280mm long ,he can,t wait to pick it up.A bloke in the US had a board of it became totally allergic to it so I bought it and a mate about a hundred miles from him cut it up for me and posted it.Incredible figure and colour.

Peter.
