This months competition requirement was for a bud vase at least 10” (255mm) tall, I had a knarlly piece of Padauk that had been in the workshop for years which finally Jumped to the front of the cue & produce a far better piece of timber than I expected from its outward appearance.

It also yielded my first 1st place which I was over the moon with :shocking::noway1:

Very well done, that grain looks twisted, very nice job....that's the beauty of wood you never know what your going to get!
