I would be interested Tony I can get studding and nuts locally I think I would have to send off to the polish shop to get the mops and polish bars.

Re inverter usually means something that converts 12 v DC to 240v AC usual use is in caravans and I used to use them with old valve transmitters I think what Jim has is a variac which usually convert one voltage AC to an other voltage AC either more or less than the original voltage with a turn of a knob in this use to speed up or slow down the motor.
