Hi All
I had been making quite a few bullet pens for my friends at the shooting range when one of the guys requested a bullet dipping pen.
He is in to calligraphy so the twist pens were of no interest to him.
I came up with this and he is over the moon so much so that he has requested another 4.
I inserted the 7mm tube into the brass as normal and then truned the Wych Elm with a spiggot that was inserted into the brass tube and epoxy resin in place. The wood ten turned to the final shape.
Grits to 800 then Danish oil and buffed with little friction polish ( He doesn't like shiny wood)
I am quite pleased with this first attempt - others to follow.
Regards
Fred
