.30 cal express. 2 are Afzelia burr, 2 serpentine Walnut and Maple, 1 Sepala. These are Chinese kits and I am not very happy with the quality. I think they will scratch easily.

They look good:thumbs: but I know what you mean about some of the platings. Show off Your finished Pens is the right place for your finished pens:thumbs:

I hope that they won't scratch easily Terry, it would be a damn shame as they all look top class my friend ..

Peter,

I am sure that Terry appreciated your endorsement of the placing of his post - or was this a dig at all and sundry, as he did indeed place the post in Show off your finished pens??

I think Jim moved it there Neil.
My argument is and always has been that if the plating does get scratched or worn then it should be good enuff and thick enuff to polish out.
It's not hard and doesn't cost much extra to leave the blanks in and give them a proper good coat.
I won't accept the argument of getting what I pay for, cos I would be prepared to pay for the quality but cannot find it unless I do it myself.

I have 40 year old lighters with gold plating that still looks like new when polished and they have had more use than any new pen I assemble.

The pens look as good as any Bullet pens I have seen Terry but not my cup of tea mate.
