Alex found a rather lovely piece of oak burr - spotted it a second before I did, dammit!! :nonono::nonono:

I bought a bit of beautifully figured walnut and a large burr elm board which is still unseasoned, will have to go in the garage roof for a year or so. I could have spent a whole lot more there but the image of SWMBO's face restrained me ...
