burr elm bottle stopper

Now, although it's against my religious beliefs to not finish a bottle of vino once open, the wife wanted a present for one of her friends. So made this stopper while I had the burr elm out.

OK Where's the surprise? Has it got a spring or a spark plug sticking out of the back of it?

I don't know about nuts and bolts looks more like a peanut.

Nice job these are always hand for using up small bits
