This is made from a burr Jim sent me in the 20K post prize, I couldn't make out the name on the blank but it sure is a beauty.

I seem to remember it started with the letter T woody, Jim had written on it, with my dyslexia it could have ended with a T :nooidea::nooidea:

Doug,

The pen is unlike any Thuya burl I have yet seen Thuya being another open name for Karellian Burl etc however there is a guy on the IAP who sells burl of beauty such as yours he gathers in the northernmost parts above Canada. Whatever the timber is you fashioned it well finished it exceptionally well thank you for showing mate.
