Got to admit, the blank for this one was a fraction short, so I shortened the clip end a little.
Just wanted to see what it would look like.

Thanks for the comments guys.
I think I've run out of kits now, but I'm sure I've run out of money:funny:

Neil, My bowl blanks cost me multiple times the price of pen kits and blanks at whatever a kilo times 5 to ten and a real pile on the floor afterwards, however lots of firewood like Woodies everywhere.

Just saying Peter.

Hi Peter.
I'm lucky enough to be in a position that I have not had to buy wood for about 6 years now.
I still have a quantity of "exotics", but all my stuff is normally made of recycled / self seasoned timber.
All of which is freely given.
I must be, (as Alex described) a Wood magnet!:funny:

All my bowl offcuts (if big enough), go for pen blanks, or end up in the burning pile.
It's only since joining this forum, that I have saved smaller bits (or longer bits, that I have in quantity), as it is evident that they may be of use to others.
Since going part time last September, I may eventually have to think about making some more income from this turning lark, but for now I have a surplus:eeeeek: of pen blanks!

I may have to have a rethink about the lucky dip bag, I'm taking to the Midlands show. It's getting too big to carry!:funny:
