Bushing

Hi, can anyone tell me where I will get a set of bushings for a Turning Hawaiian Fountain TY-FP12. The only place that I can find is in the USA. They sell them for £3.00, but after postage it goes up to £36.00. I will not pay that for bushings, that you will only use once o twice.

Do you have any bushings from other kits that will fit in the tubes, even one or two from multiple kits? You could use them to get close to the measured sizes of the hardware and then take the bushings out and finish by turning between centres, measuring to final size. It looks a little like a Jr. Marshall so bushings from any of the Jr. series kits might do it.

Hi, yes I have a few I will try them, the thing then is, try and find some thinness. But I will try and give it a go.

If you have a set of calipers it will make your job easier without bushes.

I tried to look up that kit, but having some difficulty . . .

The designation TY-FP12 would suggest Tyzack Tools, but I can't find pen kits on their website.

( I did find the kit for sale at Turners Warehouse, but that's on this side of the Atlantic and obviously you'd wanna buy from your side. )

Would you please give a link for where you bought . . . I am just checking things out at the present time in an effort to provide some help
in finding a vendor for the bushings you need.

The FP12 and the reference to Hawaiian tells me that this is a Rizheng kit. I can’t see them on Davey Gee site, I guess he chooses not to stock them, if you ask Rachel Banks for Rz-RP12#-Bu she should be able to get some, cost will be £2.50, but will probably take a couple of weeks as the factory is on new years holiday at the moment.

Thanks Neil, I find Rachel Banks on google or I can't find Rz-RP12#-Bu, Its look I am stuck with a kit that I can't use.

Rachel Banks - pen-kits.co.uk, the part number is a manufacturers part number so won’t reveal itself through Google, the pen is also sold under the name of the Empress Kit by Axminster and the bushes are £2.28 each.
