I got a commission for a pencil which takes 0.7mm leads but which looks and feels more like a workshop pencil. This is the result - cross-cut elm is NOT a good choice for inlaying as the grain chips around the edges of the inlay, as stupid as it sounds I didn't realise it was cross-cut until I was turning it ... I'm already a member of the Plonker Club!

I used the innards of a slimline pencil, but the clip doesn't fit very well. Not sure about this one - comments?

David, I dont see flaws all pluses for me in keeping with the theme of the replies nowt there to detract from your inlayed work.

Kind regards Peter.
