Made a pen and thought I would share for a few reasons:
1 - First I just wanted to show how a different colour nib can change the look of a pen completely. Here are alternating photos with a steel nib and a two-tone gold and steel nib.
2) it's a 14mm pen (meaning the cap threads are M!4X0.8 triple lead) and it has a Bock no6 nib. I usually use 13mm threads for no6 nibs but there was a bit of a discussion about nib sizes on a different thread so here you can see a no6 nib in a 14mm pen for reference.
3) I tend to use 14mm pens for no8 nibs so the last couple of photos show this pen with the no6 nib alongside an earlier pen with a no8 nib. The only adjustment I make is to increase the length of the cap to accommodate the longer no8 nib and I also shorten the section a touch.
Anyway I hope its of interest to somebody šŸ˜Š.
Cheers
Ash

We're always learning... I'd never of thought of that... I have used black or red lacquered nibs before but only to complement the blank, never thought about gold or silver...
Another cracking pen tho... Well done

Love your work & pens Ash, not sure I'll ever venture down the kitless rabbit hole, but it is interesting to understand the concepts.

Nice - the gold nib works very well with this material.

I think it's because of the caramel chips in the resin. My default is to use gold plated with wood pens and polished steel with resins (advice from my QA manager/wife) but now I've seen this I'll try to remember there are always cases where the default isn't the best choice.
