Exciting reverse nail shaping then variation in the others took my breath away. You give me inspiration mate. I am about to hitch up my trailer for a load of fines to recreate in the garden today, lucky there was no heavy frost this morning. Whilst doing heavy lifting and work I enjoy musing on your creations with others gives me courage to keep going, planning and seeing the very next pen in a new light. The video is icing on the cake....Thanks.

Kind regards ...................Peter.

Wilma and I shifted a ton of 5mm Blue metal today, I picked it up in the trailer, we wheelbarrowed it a distance from the nature strip successfully.

Stiff and sore but happy who knows what tomorrow will bring Brad.

Off the top of my head, I think it's 7mm, but you can drill a slightly smaller hole and it will fit (there's a bit of a gap in one side of it so it will compress)

I've just had a quick check of the ferrule with a digital calliper and it reads about 6.2 to 6.45mm diameter depending where you measure it. I think I'd better do a test on a piece of scrap metal!

Test piece made and a 6.3mm hole is a good fit in Aluminium alloy for the ferrule. 1/4" is 6.35mm so close enough if that's what you have.

missed all of this. :)

6 was too tight, 6.5mm was fine due to the lug sticking out of the side of the ferrule
