I bought 5 seam ripper kits in two batches, the first batch came with metal springs to hold the rippers in the tubes, one of these kits came with three springs.
On the second batch they came with the soft part of sticky back velcro as they no longer do the metal springs. I have tried suppliers but with no luck .
The sticky back velcro is useless, it does not hold the seam ripper in the tube safely.
Does anyone have one of these flat springs, i would be willing to trade. The seam ripper is for a present and at the moment it's on hold because of the spring.
