Must have a rant at Rutlands. What a bunch of idiots.
Bought, what was described on their web page as a set of jaws to fit (compatible) to a Record Power SC4 chuck. Not only did the screws to my own chuck not fit into or protrude through enough for the threads to fix the jaws, the holes that allowed the head of the countersunk to fit, was too small.

I emailed them, only to be told, by them, they don't sell jaws that are compatible with other chucks ???????? Check their web site!
I will not be using them again, once bitten twice shy.

Where's me dinner !!!!!

I think they need to look at their own website take a screen shot and send it to the idiot that replied to you e mail

If their website says it then under consumer law you must receive what they said or your money back. I suggest that you print it off before they change it, then claim it back.

I did use paypal, always will, Peter.
I can re-drill/re-shape and get new screws to fit, but it's the principle behind the email, lying about the compatibility of the said jaws that I purchased, that was sent back to me via email.

Hi Paul,
The SC4 chuck was brand new, from Record Power, bought with five other brand new jaws at the same time. Never had any problems with those jaws. I think Rutland's are are selling cheap imitations, sure not made by Record Power, passing off to be Record Power jaws. I had another set of jaws delivered today from Data Tools, no problems fitting those jaws with the original screws supplied with the original chuck. Even the jaws I had, four days ago, from DM tools fit OK with my chuck and original screws supplied by Record Power.
Anyway, as i said before, once bitten, twice shy, i will not be using them again.
