Barry beaut candle base, over here the law gets into the picture with candles the height is important ie of the candle the means of attachment for security and the stability of the base, then an interfacing drip catching set up, location in the building, no doubt the originators of the design carry the responsibility or you might think I am blowing smoke here.If it appears in the Church blog that you Barry made this etc it the legal bit could come to bite you. Cover your back mate in this litigeous world please be careful. The Church I belong to prohibits candles for the fire risk on all grounds one night an ethnic group within our building in traditional dress performed a tribal candle dance we all worried on this but that night one of the kids in one family lit a candle from the dance in a glass jar looked innocent enough to me one of those tea lights played in the spare room in a roll of carpet left it there and over night it burnt half the house down.

Mate I agonised over replying at all but please be careful when we have our annual exhibition they are juried by regs candle holders particularly.

All the best mate Peter.
