Lidded Boxes a turned a while back and finished with Tung Oil.
All measure 3" H X 1.5" D.

I like these I had not heard of that wood before. How large do the trunks get as I now see it is a shrub

Les I remember when you received a whole load of this timber many years ago making pens from it and the furore it caused based mostly on it was fairly plain in colour etc this sample of Caragana is a world apart character all over the construction unusual design.

This looks a lovely wood, how does it hold up over time, shrubby type of woods are notorious for splitting as they tend to be so fibrous? Lovely boxes.

I turned these several years ago and the lids still fit like the day they were turned.
