Look for the radius cutters, not the square ones.

For "Byrd" Shelix ® Journal (Helical) Heads -- 15mm x 15mm x 2.5mm - 4-edge - Radius Faces
100mm face radius - 15mm x 15mm x 2.5mm. Fits "Byrd" Shelix ® Heads - Byrd Ref. P/N 1791212 (Priced per knife, sold in boxes of 10.) Knives marked with 'BT'

They are $26.10 per box of ten. I've used them for years. The radius face has a slight curve to it and reduces catches.

I would be willing to buy them and ship them. They are small and light and it shouldn't cost that much. Best I remember a small flat rate priority mail box was $25 USD. If five people want them it would only add five dollars each to the cost of the cutters. That would make them $3 each. Not sure how much that is in pounds:thinks:

I agree with you Sharon, I have used the profiled tips for quite a while as I purchased my first ones from IPD.

They are much better than the square tips as they are easier to use and as you say reduce them catching, what I call "digging" in..:sob:

Did this ever go through? If not, my offer still stands. If any of you want these cutters, let me know. It would need at least 3 boxes to make the shipping worthwhile, I think. Shipping by Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box to UK is $25 USD. The cutters are $26 for a box of ten.

If you put 5 cutters in a jiffy envelope and put postage on, it would fall under the amount Customs and Excise would worry about. Say $13 for cutters and $5-$7 for postage that is still less about $4 per cutter, but that would depend if you could be bothered to split them up or not.
