If you are able to make your own tools then you can buy the carbide tips from a seller on eBay called AZcarbide.

There was an English bloke on eBay selling carbide tools he made himself, but I can't remember his name, might be worth a look.

I know none of that is from Axminster, but you could always get something else from them.
