Thanks for the reference, and the link to the video.


And as for buying sharpening jigs: Two years ago I bought the latest Tormek + all the accessories, which cost me around £400. I thought this was gonna be the gateway to smoking pleasure as far as chisel sharpening was concerned. Six months later I'd worn a valley in the stone that is as deep as the Grand Canyon! Since then I've tried other methods without any real success, and now make do with the edge I can get from my bench grinder. It's probably true that I could perform a lobotomy more easily than I can sharpen anything! LOL!
