Hi Bob,

I am not very gifted like some in the sharpening department either and tried with the bench grinder and then with the Robert Sorby jigs and the bench grinder but still managed to make a dogs breakfast of it I ended up buying the pro edge and have not looked back. It is strange because I can sharpen plane blades and chisels by hand to surgical sharpness but let me near a grinder and I will spend an hour messing it up and an hour attempting to get it back to where I started. Think you will like the carbide cutters they do last some time before they need a sharpen.
