Bill sewed the sEEds of cARVING RINGS SO i THOUGHT i WOULD HAVE A GO INIT?
better pics this time i found the right settings on the Brownie so I chucked the original in too.
African blackwood pen blank with a hole drilled through it then carved to shape, plus the oak one I made the other day, holding out extremely well.
It has not come off me finger for more than a moment since I made it, bathed showered washed up and trapped it under Ray/ Neil's lathe while unloading it.
At the end is one I am shaping now wiv me whittle knife, having fun init?

Another lost post init?
As I was saying, anyone having issues turning rings could easily do this and no need to carve with knives, drill hole and sand the outside on your belt sander.
That's how I finished one of these, the pointy bit was supposed to be a flat for engraving me initials in but I got carried away and sliced off another corner leaving it as this init?
Thanks for the nice comments and encouragement init?

You are one smart man, dad! Love them! Only concern I would have is for longevity, there is a lot of very thin end grain at two points around the circumference.
