Made up a rollerball Castellar kit today from Timberbits. Wish I hadn't bothered, as the cap threads were very hit and miss and don't feel good at all. Also the clip felt a bit wobbly, and after a few times screwing the cap on and off, it snapped off! Don't think I'll bother making up the fountain pen kit I got!

I have only made one of them and it was fine, you really shouldn't be touching any clip when twisting any cap off, but you should let David know and he will sort it out for you.

The clip didn't feel right from the start. I think it must have had a crack in the metal right at the top. I never touch the clip while twisting the cap, it was a bit like a Uri Geller moment!
