I have bought a couple of pre cast Steampunk blanks of Beartooth supplies....these turn really well but i have noticed on assembly a slight seapage between the plate and cast substraite....i thought the resin would bond to the material complete, but it looks to have shrunk away a little....is this normal???:thinks:

I make the same kind of blanks and I haven't had any of those problems.

I have had this before on a japanese paper blank and now this...all i did was wipe the tube ends with a little moist tissue and it seems to show a shadow between the boiler plate and resin...:thinks:

If you can get a photo that shows the problem then the supplier will more than likely send you another one.
