He people I am fairly new to pen turning but have jumped straight in and also started casting my own pen blanks.
I currently use polyester resin with mica powders with really good results but also am using enamel paints ( humbrol) to get none pearlescent colours, the paints mix really easy and with full saturation.
I also find that I do not require a pressure pot either.
My question is is there anything else paint wise I can mix specifically with polyester resin.

Beaut casting Luke. A careful wipe would remove the marks on the pen body,a couple of more full pen pics it would appear in Pen Of The Week listing where it belongs IMHO.

Yes just polyester resin with hardner and some humbrol paints. Doing as you would for normal pen casting and pour two colours at same time into mold
