After seeing the lovely knots posted on here & after reading Jim`s tutorial I felt inspired to try one for myself.

I cut this on the bandsaw as per Jim`s instruction the resulting knot is quite delicate, which I really like but unfortunately try as I might doesn`t show up brilliantly in the photos, much better in the flesh.

I thoroughly enjoyed making this, just my bag, definitely won't be my last, thanks Jim for a good tutorial :thumbs:

That looks spot on Doug as we would expect from you mate well done I like the fine detail of the knot very much

Looks good to me Doug, i have never used Padauk for the cross, after seeing this i bet i do .. Nothing wrong here my friend ... :bwink:

Thanks for the comments, much appreciated.

Managed to glue up a couple more knots today, one in London plain with Satinwood knot & another leadwood this time with a Chakte viga knot, I'm looking forward to turning these this coming week :banana::banana:
