A nice pen and well made.

At the risk of being controversial I have a worry with a lot of these kits. Is there enough about them to differentiate from the mass of Chinese made pens you can buy cheaply in the stationers? There is so much of the decoration in the kit itself does one's craftsmanship come across in a way that makes it stand out on its own merits?
I don't mean this as a critisism of your pen Alan, it is more of a philosophical point and I am not sure I have expressed it clearly but there is just that niggle in the back of my mind.
