This was a bigger pen than I thought, and messed a few blanks drilling the larger hole!

But overall I'm happy with this pen, Sapele is a lovely wood.

Picture taken in my new light box on my mobile, still need to play around with lighting and camera settings, but getting there!

Nice finish. The 15mm hole through the cap is a £&@#, isn't it? My knees shake very time I do it, especially in a segmented blank. I've had a few of those come apart on me ...

After seeing and hearing about all the girlie pens it is refreshing to see a man's pen Gav ...

Regarding the drilling, i tend to drill in three stages when going for a large hole, starting with the 7mm, then moving onto a 10mm before going in for the kill with the last sized bit..

I like the lightbox set-up you have, the pictures a decent to say that you are using a mobile to take them ..
