Hi All,

Home made blank. Very happy with the way this turned out. Hope to find chalk that fits.
Very easy kit to put together.

Opti cast 100 resin.
Blue Alumilite
Bright Gold Pearlx. Looks more like Yellow.

Cheers

Nice blank and a lovely finish on it Paul. Was that P175 you were using on that final mop?

Morning here Paul I asked my Daughter visiting from the US as a long time teacher who said she did not know they don,t use chalk. I have heard before thaough chalk varies,it used to be tapered so to look for parallel chalk would help initially.

Of the video love the content and quality, interested as well about the yellow stick. A great day for me when you show your videos. In the move did you get the mooring and the boat?

Peter.

Hi William,
Thank you. It is the P175. The two mop set I use are near the bottom of this link. Plastic Polishing Kits

Good morning Peter,

I'm happy that you like the vids.

I have not come across tapered chalk. The parallel kind is the more common here in the UK.
I actually prefer the chalk holder that works like the shop pencil. You push the top and the collet opens.

I'm a bit slow this morning Peter, I'm trying to work out the Move, mooring and boat comment.

Cheers

I thought you would have been too busy playing with your new metal lathe at the moment :thinks:

I will get a bit of time with it this weekend. I'm going to groove a piece of round stock and then cast it in resin, put it in the pressure pot and then turn it back to round and see how the resin holds out in the different depth grooves.

I did make something for the lathe today. It will make it easier to find the small allen key. ;-)

Paul I think you are trying to upset me showing me all you toys, I am jealous.:envy::envy::ciggrin:
Love your pantograph.

Hi Mark,
The Pantograph really is a beauty.

Couple of years ago I was looking on ebay for my first wood lathe and I came across this. It had a bid of £100 with 10 minutes left and it was local to me so I put in a bid and I won. I could not believe it. For the cost of two turning chisels I got myself a fantastic machine and it works perfectly.

Cheers

Pato perfect Paul. Some time back I understood you were selling from where you had the birds and Koi Carp, moving to who knows where with the intention ofrheading south near the sea, have a mooring and a boat hence my reference.

Not many casters create grain in the main colour, I respect your location of the clip it gives suitable prominance to avoid over emphasis. Once more the Video enables so well.

Peter.
