I had this hammered in to me as an apprentice. A long time ago - yet I stlll get it wrong!
I bought a Managers Rollerball kit along with a nice piece of walnut.

Having gone through the drilling, gluing, trimming and finishing I then discovered parts of the kit were either missing or simply incorrect.

Wasted time and material.

Check twice and cut once from now on?
