Nicely made Steve good to see you have made the recess for the slate a bit bigger than the slate to allow for wood movement I made a load of coasters years ago and yes the wood moved and most of the tiles cracked so well done mate
Really nice, practical pieces that I can use around the home & shop really appeal to me & that`s definitely one to put on my "to make" list
