After seeing the post about the group buy for bandsaw blades it got me thinking about sizes I can use on my B/saw.

I have a 17" SBEW 4300 Ledacraft, every company brings this model out in different colours.

My question is what is the smallest width blade I can use on it?

What is a good selection of blade width and TPI?

ATM my B/saw is under utilised as the crappy blades I got from Henry Bro won't cut straight, leaves a very rough finish.:sob::sob:

Every blade you want to use will be determined by two main facts. 1.Your blade guides min setting often too big for the smaller width blades I know it on my Carbatec 18 inch saw. 2. Your intended use ie for me I get hardened tooth blades they do a better job on our burls for example and there are others. The very widest blades require a strip down to fit my saw.

Peter.
