You have been busy and another nice pen. Is this an Axminster blank? IT looks like the same one I started turning last week but I made the mistake of not painting the inside of the hole before gluing in the tube. Because the top is turned thinner than the bottom, I got away with it on the bottom part but the cap was a different shade of blue and I could see the tube bleeding through so I'm going to have to redo it. :rolling:

Thanks Ray, the blank is from Timberbits (code PB005). I have taken to painting all tubes when doing acrylics :thinks::thinks:

Out of interest, what colour did you paint the tubes? I have a couple of the blanks and was wondering if I should use white, blue or silver to paint them.
