This is a Chrome Pristina FP from Timberbits with one of my blanks. I really don't like this blank and will more than likely turn it off and put some burr on it instead.

Me personally would leave it Peter .. The blank has a jelly look to it which i think makes it that much more unique .. Quality pen my friend ..

:thinks: I'm not sure about the blank Peter, looks a little flat and not as colourful as your previous blanks.

I can see where you are comming from, but we are our own worst critics..

Still well turned and finished ..

That's exactly how I feel about the blank, it looks insipid compared to the unturned blanks. I added something to the resin that requires me to use CA as a finish, but I have a feeling that after I wet sanded the blank was not completely dry (owing to my addition to the resin) and has made the CA somewhat milky. I can't face turning another one of them.

Here are the blanks before and the finished pen.

It's a beautifully made pen Peter. Let the customer decide. I have to say looking at the blanks I would have expected more colour.
