Well here's my two penn'orth.
I must have used or tested pretty much every brand of chuck over the years and the one thing I can say is that there is not a lot to choose between them in terms of doing the job.
I like the Axminsters because you can change jaws by winding them in and out but the down side if you want to do that is you need a set of jaw carriers for every set of jaws.
The Nova and Sorby Patriot have interchangeable jaws. The Versachuck will take just about any jaws manufactured.
The Vicmarks are good too but hard to get hold of in the UK.
The range of jaws available for any of the above is extensive so opting for any one brand is not going to restrict you too much.
In conclusion I now feel under resourced with only four chucks to my name.
