I came across two bags recently one was a full kit of a fat cigar pen. The other just contains two tubed blanks complete with bushes. However there are four of them and don't know if they are the same kits or different, plus if correct are the bushes all the same size or in what order do they go??????

Get the IAP Bushings and Tube app for your cell phone. Then input the tube length or diameter and go down the list of likely candidates and see if the tube diameters/length and the bushing sizes match. It may take a while as the list might be long but you'll get there. The app also has the instructions for the pen too.

Thanks Pete but do you measure the internal or outside diameter of the tubes. I do have a set of bushes of four but not sure what way they go in there seems to be 3 the same size and one seems larger. So I'm a bit lost.......

You measure the outside diameter of the tubes. The inside diameter will probably work as would the bushing dimensions although I haven't tried to see.

I came across this instruction sheet on another website which looks similar to the kit I have and also require 4 bushes. I will photo packets and components later as well as the second but will measure the bushes as well and post later....

I get that kit and the same instructions from Turner’s Retreat
There is a very clear explanation of the order of the bushings on the mandrel
BUT as I mentioned in a recent thread the cigar kits seem to be disappearing and the suppliers have no stock
