Cigar pen

Yes a second pen out of my workshop this year OK OK turned by my great granddaughter again this is for her dads birthday next week.

A Cigar pen from my stock and a spalted blank not 100% sure what wood though. She did a great job including finishing with melamine lacquer which she said was the best part I think that was because she could see the shine starting to appear as she added more coats.

She really enjoyed herself and went home with a big smile on her face. I think she did a great job and is starting to show me up

Thank you guys she will be pleased to hear all the nice comments. I have been working in the shop as well as cooking and gardening. Had a burn up last night so that I can start to dig the veg patch

Fantastic pen Derek. Did you say GREAT grand daughter? She is clearly very talented, but there again she has a talented teacher.
