Cigar Stormy River

This is a "hybrid" cigar pen from Berea. It's called hybrid, because it's chrome with satin accents. The blank is from Beartooth Woods, and is called Stormy River. Very pretty blank, and a nice combination, I think.

The blank was actually a 1-1/2" x 6" project blank that was on sale for $6. I was able to get four pen blanks out of it.

I love the hunt for spectacular blanks, and love seeing their beauty emerge. You never know for sure what you're going to end up with.

Lovely blank and a great job made of it. Mind you a stormy river round here is a murky brown colour, just would not have looked the same!
