I've been given and "Old" Clarke 10" table saw, works ok, wheel raises and lowers blade ok, it's on a stand with wheels so I can move it out of the way.

But it doesn't have a blade guard at all, I would prefer to use it with obviously. Contacted Clarkes and it's that old they only do brushes for it now.

Does anyone know if another type can be adapted, the insert surrounding the blade is a lot smaller than current models

Model number CTS 10c

is there a riving knife on the saw? making a guard should be easy enough. supporting it is a bit more of an issue.

Do what I did when I used a circular saw as a table saw underneath a made up bench, make a sled and put some clear perspex on the top for a guard!

It looks a tad like my old Nu Tool unit, so probably one thats rebadged several time. I know Nu Tool have long gone I suspect, but another possible search option.
