Due to all my Pen kits and blanks being stored ready to move into a new man cave, i found a blank piece of Yew and decided to make a clock, not much turning involved though just a sander and a forstener bit.

Missing my lathe as that too has been stripped ready to move then the bugger pulled out of the sale last minute :sob:
Hope to sell soon again if not will re assemble the record Cl 3 again.

Very nice Johnny you have made good use Of that Yew I do like these type of clocks and they sell well, a good job all round

I like it Johnny, maybe no turning involved but other skills and patience is needed to make something of this quality .. :bwink:

That but of wood looks nice, putting a clock in has upped the stakes and it looks superb..

The clock in the background looks as though it's "lurking" in the background ready to take the new boy out though.. :tongue:

What sort of prices do these sell for ?

About £40 but it really depends on the market were you live I have sold clocks in London for over £100 but in Lincolnshire I was lucky to get £30 bandstand clocks down south an 8" one £150 Lincolnshire £95

Thanks Woody that is more than i was going to charge , £30 was my guide price , times are tough down here ,
I have only polished and waxed the clock, do you think the punters want au naturale or should i varnish the clock ?
