Cocobolo Sierra

Bought some cocobolo last weekend in the Welsh Woodfest weekend.
Made this sierra pen and was expecting a more reddish appearance to the pen !!!!!
Works well and similar to Blackwood in its oiliness , looks ok but a little too dark for me.

That is a very nice pen very well turned and finished but I will be very surprised if that is actually cocobolo

Take a guess
It's difficult to see if it's Cocobolo as I can't make out the grain pattern as the wood looks so dark, I do have some very dark Cocobolo so know it can be dark, that said it looks a nice pen Johnny, well turned :thumbs:

Nice dark pen mate seems we all have problems with deep coloured pens when it comes to pics Johnny never mind it looks good.
